As southern European regions face mounting heatwaves and prolonged summer temperatures, the challenge of summer energy poverty is becoming increasingly urgent. Vulnerable households face significant health and well-being risks due to poor housing conditions, lack of cooling infrastructure, and limited resources.

The Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH) invites practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and community leaders to join the first Practitioners’ Event of 2025. This interactive event will bring together experts and local governments from across the South EU regions (e.g. Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Italy) to explore new data, share local case studies, and exchange innovative coping strategies that support equitable and climate-adaptive solutions.
