The Action Planner is an online software tool for municipal climate action monitoring and management.

This Climate Alliance tool evaluates climate action measures in local authorities and provides users with tailored recommendations for action, based on a list of over 350 potential actions prioritised on the basis of your municipal situation. It can be used to calculate greenhouse gas savings for individual local climate action activities and manage measures.

What we offer

The action planner package includes both the user licence and tailored training courses:

  • Licence
    The software licence can be purchased singly or as part of a bundle. Climate Alliance member municipalities benefit from a reduced price. Interested municipalities can request access to a demo account to get to know the tool better.
  • Digital training
    The tailor-made training and support package comes in two versions, depending on the target group. The training for local governments is aimed at municipal administrations, while the service provider training is aimed at municipal consultants and service providers.
